Left front brake caliper for Volkswagen Golf 1, 2 and 3 with original VW II (VW 2) mounting only:

- Golf 1 from 1979
- Golf 2 1.6 / 1.8 carb / D, TD and GTI 8S / 16S until 07/1989
- Golf 3 1.4 / 1.8 / 1.9D until 07/1995

Color: gray

2 rubber bushes included.
Supplied without sliders (metal guide rings) and screws (Order No. GH28808 to be ordered separately).

This is the floating part of the stirrup only.
Depending on the version, the caliper may be positioned differently from your original position on the bracket. This does not interfere with proper operation (centering is achieved via screws and slides).

New caliper with no return of your old part (no exchange, no deposit).

I'm giving my opinion on a silver caliper, not a gold one as shown in the photo Please note that the gold one doesn't seem to be as well made (I had the 2 in comparison and preferred the silver one). Watch out for the rubber sleeves at the caliper mountings. Some are of poor quality. Mecatechnic offers a kit to improve them, with a Teflon ring.
