- 986 2.7 Boxster - 228 hp (M96.23) of 2003
- 986 3.2 Boxster S - 252 hp (M96.21) from 2000 to 2002
- 986 3.2 Boxster S - 260 hp (M96.24) of 2003
- 986 3.2 Boxster S550 - 266 hp (M96.24) of 2003

In the event of a failure, Porsche replaces the complete anti-theft unit with the contactor. It is possible that your Porsche Boxster before 2004, has a contactor and block from 2004. It may therefore be interesting to dismantle your old contactor beforehand, in order to check its version.

One of the 2 fixing pastes broke during installation. The contactor doesn't hold properly, which will probably lead me to buy another one. The plastic used does not support any mechanical stress. It's very fragile and I've paid the price. I'm well aware that being broken I can't ask for a refund and that's a shame. Very disappointed Small detail that may or may not be important, the one received is not the one ordered. The one received is black. I therefore wonder about the supplier and the brand. It's conceivable that it's a Chinese piece.
