Left windshield pillar molding (A-pillar) satin black finish original type for VW Golf 1 Cabriolet:
- All models from 01/1979 to 07/1993
This trim strip, which acts as a deflector, is located on the left-hand pillar on the driver's side. Often damaged by the weight of the years, it will restore your Golf 1 cabrio to its former factory glory.
Information: It may be necessary to cut your original part to length in order to adapt it perfectly to your pillar.
This part is called "adaptable" because it does not come from the manufacturer.

As explained, it's adaptable... I didn't expect anything better. Resembles the original in every way, except for the curvature at the bottom, which is obviously missing since the rod would have to be cut to fit it. Not easy to fit, especially as it arrived slightly curved.

Copy of a part that has nothing to do with the original, bends, has to be re-cut, only one rounding, scratches the bodywork, as I said to the after-sales service, it damages the company's image. Save your pennies and go to Leroy Merlin for a black PVC moulding, which costs only 3.5 euros, or the sheet metal edge seals for 8 euros, which are better. Huge disappointment? Commercially speaking, the fact that this is a copy of a part should be mentioned at the beginning of the description, not at the end.
