The Volkswagen Golf 1 is a reliable car that has stood the test of time.

However, it's not without its faults, the gearshift linkage being one of them. The various bushes wear out and fall apart, making it difficult to shift gears and giving the impression of having a gearshift that's stuck in the mud.

This kit includes the ball-and-socket joint as well as the lower shifter spring, the guide ring for the rod running from the shifter to the gearbox, and various seals and bushings.

All you need is a precise, user-friendly gearshift linkage for your VW Golf 1 and Jetta 1.

Good quality, perhaps not as strong as the original, but a very complete kit. It's an excellent idea to offer this product.

The part has been fitted without any problem, now there is a slight offset when I shift gears.when I shift gears 1 and 2 the level is slightly lower than gears 3-4-5.my mechanic told me that there is an iron part to change, do you know which one I have to change in order to have the same level. Thank you for an answer. Sincerely v.p
