Replacement for an original barrel from a 1988 Audi 80. Identical to the original, works very well, fair price. You just need to know how to dismantle the old one: drill a hole to press on the spring that locks the cylinder in its holder.

Compliant part for barrel replacement on audi 80 no problem with

The lock fits perfectly, but there's a slight difference... once the ignition key is removed, it doesn't lock the neiman mechanically, which is unimportant as the neiman can't be accessed once it's mounted on the steering column.
