New turbocharger without exchange on original KKK assembly for VW LT from 05/1996 to 07/2006 :
- 2.5 TDi 109hp (ANJ)
Precautions must be taken when replacing a Turbo:
- The oil circuit must be cleaned to remove any residues that may clog the circuit.
- replace the oil and oil filter
- Check and clean oil intake and return ducts
- Air and breather hoses also need checking
- Using a syringe, fill the turbo with oil through the turbo oil inlet, then prime the turbine by hand.
- Once the new turbo has been fitted, start the engine and let it idle for 10 minutes. Before stopping the engine, let it idle for a few seconds (do not accelerate suddenly before stopping).
