Details about : PERTRONIX ignition equipped with an IGNITOR 2 electronic module

12 volt Flame Thrower performance ignition
Made from high-quality aluminium billet
The ignition advance is adjustable up to 24 degrees using 3 strips and 3 return spring hardnesses supplied.

The "IGNITOR 2" ignition requires a coil with at least 0.45ohm resistance and a wiring harness with USA type connections.

Suitable for replacing BOSCH (VW, Porsche) ignitions
- Type 1 engines: 1200, 1300, 1500, 1600 cc (except 20/35 bhp engine)
- Type 3 engines: 1500, 1600 cc + 1600 cc, CT type
- Type 4 engines: 1700, 1800, 2000 cc with carburretor

Despite some assembly difficulties (coil ground problem, you mustn't connect the coil to ground - the igniter acts as ground) and, above all, unclear English instructions, works very well. (mounted on a cox 1835 engine) Good product
