Golf 1 Sedan, Cabriolet and Jetta 1 1.5L, 1.6L, 1.8L :
- From gearbox no. 01 08 3-> (to be checked on the gearbox)
- For 1982 to 1984 gearbox codes:
GR, GK, 1A, 4A, FH, FJ, FK, FD, FP, 6G, 7G, 7A, 4Y, 8A, 4T, 9A

Golf 1 Caddy :
- Suitable for gearbox codes: 2G, GY, 5B, 4S, AVX

Golf 2 and Jetta 2 1.6L, 1.8L :
- For 1984 to 1985 gearbox codes: 4A, 4R, 3R, ACH, 7A, 8A, 4S, 4T, ACN
- Suitable for gearbox code 9A up to gearbox no. ->31 09 3 (to be checked on the gearbox)
- Suitable for gearbox code 2Y up to gearbox no. ->01 04 6 (please check on the gearbox)

Scirocco 2 type 53B 1.5L, 1.6L and 1.8L :
