This repair plate , located vertically between the floor and the door sill, is a structural part of the chassis. Because of the box-like shape it forms with the outer spar, corrosion is often very present at this point on the E10.
The part is delivered bare with black storage paint. Before final painting, it is essential to treat and prepare it to prevent corrosion from reappearing.
