Hello. I have already used the EBC Blackstuff on my E39 530d VFL with perforated Zimmermann brake disks. They work great, better than the Green and Red Stuff. They are too hard for the brake disk, as are the ATE Caramic Pads. Blackstuff pads are perfect and can be recommended in this combination. LG
