Product quality is good. Even if they're not essential for changing a timing belt, it's still much easier. And given the reasonable price, you shouldn't go without. The only downside is the packaging. It's a kit for 1.5 and 1.9 dCi and nowhere is the assignment of the pigs specified (for your information, the 2 pigs with threads are those of the 1.5, the large one for the crankshaft and the small one for the AAC).

the crankshaft rod is slightly too long . problem solved with a 1 mm washer

The D8 for the 1.5 dci doesn't fit in the cylinder head, so you have to roll it and make an entry chamfer.

I've just done my distribution on Renault Clio 2, 1.5dci engine with these pigs and I'm satisfied. However, they're not chrome-plated as in the photo, but all black, but it does the job, that's the main thing. One area for improvement: there should be a legend on the back to indicate the word code that corresponds to the pin.

Timing pins too long or too small don't screw into the hole in the engine block for the 1.9 dci really disappointed. ...

Honestly I'm disappointed, the dimensions are not in accordance with the RTA, 69.5mm length requested for mot1489 but the largest pin is measured at 68.2mm the second measures 63mm but does not correspond to any known dimensions and the third pin measured at 49mm resembles the length of mot1430. No pin is identified.

The pigs aren't strong enough, so there's a wedging problem.
