Hello, without this tool I wouldn't have been able to professionally readjust the elastic air-conditioning belt on my Iveco motorhome. Of course, with a metal object it's always possible to manage, but when it comes to work directly on the crankshaft pulley, it's better to arm yourself with special tools. Acceptable price/quality, belt reassembled in 5 minutes. Thank you very much.

I used the product to dismantle/reassemble the alternator belt on my Dacia Logan II 54kW. As this alternator doesn't have a buttonhole to slacken the belt, and the belt doesn't have a tensioner either, the tool is essential to avoid damaging the belt when handling it.

The belt installation tool tends to slip off the pulley, and the belt guidance is approximate. The tooling does the job, however, if care is taken.

I ordered this kit to remove and reinstall the belt on my 207 1.6hdi. The tool for removing the belt comes up against the engine speed sensor, but you can get it out by pulling on it by hand when the tool touches the sensor. The tool for reassembly works well (be careful to position and tighten it properly, as the belt pulls very hard when reassembled).

The same configuration as other similar products, chosen for its price. However, the installation tool does not fit perfectly on the pulley on which it was used (it tends to dislocate under the pressure exerted by the tensioned belt). Overall, however, the product is satisfactory.

- Not easy to adapt to all types of pulleys, the two rods could have been threaded and therefore removable. - The belt-removal part should be lower to reduce stress on the belt to be removed.

Essential if you don't want to damage the belt. However, you can't screw the tool onto the edge of small pulleys. You can get away with holding the tool on the pulley edge, but watch your fingers!
