This gasket kit for VW Golf 1 and Golf 1 Cabriolet will be useful when changing or reconditioning the cylinder head (head gasket replacement).

In this run-in kit, you'll find all the gaskets you need to reassemble your cylinder head:
- Cylinder head gasket
- Valve stem gasket
- Spy gasket
- Manifold gasket (intake and exhaust)
- Rocker cover gasket in cork type (not rubber).

Worn engine gaskets lead to external or internal oil or coolant leaks in the cylinders.

This engine gasket kit is compatible with Volkswagen Golf 1 Sedan and Cabriolet engines:
- 1.6 carburetor 75hp (EW)
- 1.8 carburetor 90hp (EX)
- 1.8 GTi / GLi 98/112hp (2H and DX)

Please note that replacing or reconditioning the cylinder head/head gasket requires a certain level of mechanical expertise.

Rocker cover gasket not watertight with torque tightening of the rocker cover, I replaced a rubber gasket and no more worries.
