Details about : Trumpet bellows for Volkswagen Beetle

This split sleeve makes installation easy, as it does not require removing the trumpet.
This trumpet bellows comes complete with screws and 2 original clamps for a perfect seal. Remember to order the UO10441 clamp. You can replace them with Serflex universal clamps if you wish.
Left- or right-hand mounting.
Sold individually, in German quality.

For models with trumpet rear axle:
- VW Beetle 1200, 1300, 1500 (not 1302 / 1303), Karmann-Ghia, Type 3, Combi Split, Porsche 356

Not suitable for models with universal joints.

The trumpet bellows provides a seal between the gearbox and the trumpet.

Flexible rubber for easy installation, and a tight seal thanks to the interlocking grooves. It's best to have the right pliers to tighten the clamps.

Good product, but on the photo on the site, the bellows is shown supplied with serflex collars (with screwdriver and 7 wrench) but received with certir collars (a tool is needed and less practical to fit), I used the old serflex that were fitted with the old bellows.

easy assembly... too bad about the clamps, because they're hard to put on without the right pliers. I finally tightened them with other clamps.

Good quality, only downside: why are clamps so difficult to tighten in a confined space? Plumbing-style screw clamps are easier to tighten.
