The Traction Avant is presented here through six petrol engines, from the 1934 7A to the 11 CV built until 1957, all with a carburettor and chain-driven timing. The in-line four-cylinder units, from 1,303 to 1,911 cc, produce 32 to 60 hp; the 2,867 cc six-cylinder of the 15 Six delivers 77 hp. The 15 Six D stands out with its right-hand rotating engine. The engine type, 7A, 7B/7C, 11, 11D or 15, remains the most reliable guide when choosing parts for your Traction.
