30/31 PICT carburetor
Equipped with piston choke and 12-volt choke.
(a 6 Volt choke can be installed instead ref.VC71200).

Suitable for :
VW Cox, Karmann-Ghia

Sometimes supplied with an offset spacer which allows it to be mounted on a 34" intake pipe (68 mm center distance).
If this is the case (depending on deliveries): to get back to a small 54 mm center distance, unscrew the spacer and use the spacer fixing screws to fix the carburetor to the pipe.

Very good value for money. Immediate start-up after assembly, even if a slight adjustment is required (normal). The machining is average on the outside of the carburettor, it could have been deburred a little better, but for the price it's not a big deal as it works very well. On the other hand, it's a real shame that it was delivered without the throttle cable clamp. It's not mentioned in the description. Adjustment is a little less easy than on an original solex carburetor, but largely doable. In short, my Cox runs perfectly hot and cold, and it's all good!
