This reproduction ignition distributor will allow you to replace the original Ducellier igniter with vacuum on your Renault, 4, 5, 8, 12 Caravelle or Alpine with a new part. A worn or damaged igniter will havevertical play in the feet and cause ignition misfire or inability to stall the ignition

The capacitor lasted 5 minutes at idle before burning out, which is a shame for a new part, apart from that, after 150 km it was still flat.
