This intake manifold offers much better flow than the original pipe. Aluminum center section to avoid Vapor Lock effect when hot. For 34 PICT carburetors.
For VW Cox, Karmann-Ghia, Combi, 181... with 1300 or 1600 engine, double intake and single heater.
This pipe is not pre-drilled to receive a brake assist vacuum fitting, only the location is provided but foresee a fitting and then drill to install your fitting.
Tubing to be adjusted at the side connection pipes.
Reproduction pipes are generally longer than the original and may need to be adjusted or recut.
Occasionally, the carburetor installation touches the alternator body. This problem is corrected by cutting 1/2 cm off the left-hand end of the intake duct, thus shifting the central alternator support to the left. Occasionally, you may also need to grind the central support of the intake pipe to ensure correct positioning of the assembly.
