I couldn't screw the spark plug into the cylinder head any more: this tool enabled me to rectify the thread and everything's back in order Take care to grease it well with thick grease to prevent filings from falling into the cylinder.

It lacks instructions for use. I'm waiting to start the engine to see if I've done a good job and if this was the right solution.

I couldn't use it. The thread was too damaged, so I had to use the M14 spark plug thread repair kit.
