IDEM for the regulator, I'm wary of time and carbon wear, and I prefer to have one in reserve in my vehicle, they are accessible and easy to change in T4, not like in some newer vehicles where they are inaccessible and even sometimes embedded in rubber, forcing the user to change the alternator ...
