This Solex 32 EISA- Bakelite 5mm carburetor spacer is made by MECATECHNIC.

This spacer for the Solex 32 EISA carburetor is machined from an old-fashioned laminated phenolic resin that is particularly stable to heat, cold and contact with potentially corrosive liquids and oils, and will not warp.

A thermal shim isolates the carburetor from the heat generated by the manifold. Prevents deformation of the carburettor baseplate and limits the effects of vapor lock and self-combustion, preventing fuel from "boiling" in the carburettor bowl.

Requires two base gaskets for installation (not supplied).
