With this tool, 16mm threading in aluminum is not very precise. I probably should have pre-drilled to the right diameter. I had to go over it several times to place the insert without it breaking. They're very fragile, fortunately there were several of them. I ended up wedging the whole thing with epoxy putty, but in the end it worked. My lawnmower's engine was saved.

I strongly advise against this gadget, which I knew to stop in time, otherwise the breech is in the garbage can.
