Details about : Standard original vacuum ignition for Type 1 engine

Original type original vacuum ignition. Supplied complete with: cap, rotor, slip screws, capacitor and vacuum capsule. Supplied without ignition base seal (VC30106)

For VW:
- Beetle, Karmann-Ghia, Type 3, 181, Combi
Type 1 engines: 1200, 1300, 1500, 1600.
- Transporter T25/T3, 1600 CT engine
(assembly without electronics module TSZ)

Very good product, I modified this one to integrate an electronic ignition module but it was quite simple. The only drawback is that the bakelite of the head is a bit too deep for the HT cables, and the connectors have trouble getting to the bottom to make contact, otherwise a really good product.

adjustable platinum screw max. at 0.2, 0.4 is required, therefore unusable vacuum control too much play of more than one millimetre on control, feed plate does not slide properly very poorly finished delco head big scratch on the studs not specified on advertisement vacuum feed AND CENTRIFUGE it's the 1st time I've come across such a misery on Mecatechnic, quality/price ratio NOT too expensive for this.

I chose the product because it looked good, everything is bent, impossible to adjust, and damaged. I don't recommend it at all.
