Very good, easy to use. It's for 2CVs and the minimum width seems to fit, the 1st test will take place this spring. Modifying the width must be quite time-consuming because you have to split the deck in two to insert other parts, but I don't think I'll ever do that. Lifting requires 340 crank turns, but with a drill it's very quick. This bridge is designed to be used with a 900-watt drill and a car weighing between 1000 and 1500 kg. For a 2CV weighing just 700 kg, a 750-watt drill will be more than sufficient.

Very practical little bridge, opt for a good drill for lifting otherwise with the crank provided it's long and tiring but it does the job, lifting a golf5 and golf 6 with it and no problem.

I've changed my lifting equipment, and the adjustable mini-bridge has become my method of lifting vehicles. I'm currently using it for a Toyota rav4, at the lift height it's at the front with 1.20 m of clearance under the chassis, what more can I say, except that installation takes 5 minutes to position the vehicles.

I can't believe I've waited 25 years for the comfort of this tilting bridge. It's sturdy and practical, and allows you to work at height without fatigue or contortions. I bought this lift for my workshop as an alternative to a column lift, I have been using it for quick interventions and I must say that I am fine with it...only thing to improve the lifting system instead of the swivel stick I would prefer maybe even an electric motor...at hobby level it may be fine but for a workshop where unfortunately you only go running it would be useful a quicker system however for the text ok

Very satisfied....why did I wait so long?! I use it personally, and it's perfect. Small recommendations: - Allow at least 2m clearance on one side of the vehicle to handle the bridge. - For a sporty vehicle (low ground clearance), the bridge won't fit. Provide a set of shims to raise the vehicle slightly and allow the bridge to slide underneath. - an electric screwdriver is essential....forget the crank ;-)

The tilting system makes it easy to work on cars. The only drawback is that for a small garage, you have to jack up the car from the sides to get the bridge into position and lower the car once it's centered. In fact, the width of the bridge means it can't be slid in from underneath, either at the front or rear, as it bumps up against the wheels.

The problem is that with my 710w drill, I couldn't assemble the car. Fortunately, the crank handle came with it. And on the videos, you can see the person tilting the car back and forth without forcing it! For me, it's not possible.

Bought this bridge to maintain my vehicles, but for one of them a citroen c15 there is no length that fits either too small or too large, width between flanges under chassis 124. The position on the plates is too tight (bites on 1 to 2 cm of the edge). For occasional maintenance, this deck plays its role well and is pleasant to work on when seated.

Serious workmanship. Not yet used. A problem with sliding it under the car, as the wheels are only designed for lateral movement, and in a standard building garage, it's impossible to slide it under the chassis. Mecatechnic's documentation should specify the required width between wheel and side wall. Or that the maneuvering castors also allow the bridge to slide forward or backward.

The bridge matches my expectations and the description. But forget the crank, and get a drill with 2 speeds (with my Bosch 620W and 1st at 600rpm it's perfect). Regarding the adjustment between the three widths, it's a pain, for example you can't "fold" it up quickly for storage. In any case, for a car, only the large width is useful. Big negative point: I had to check all the tightenings, and half the screws weren't tight! Quite serious for a lifting device... Another negative point that's not clear from the description is that you can't lift the car horizontally like with a scissor lift. You have to lift it first, keeping the rear end on the ground, for example, and while lifting, stop to put the pins in the 1st or 2nd or 3rd hole. The car will then tilt, and the rear axle will quickly lift off. Depending on the hole chosen, the car will come to rest horizontally at around 40, 50 or 60cm. As far as safety is concerned, it's not really possible to fit stanchions, as the bridge takes up all the space under the side members. You'd have to stack 2 rims at 4 corners... Not great. Last but not least, you need at least 1.6m of clearance on the side of the body to be able to place the bridge on it and roll it underneath. On the other hand, the bridge is easy to handle on its own, thanks to the castors. I hope this helps some of you!

Very practical for working at a good height without breaking your back! The only drawback is its minimal height (15cm): I couldn't slide it under my car without having to put the wheels on chocks to increase ground clearance.

a few years ago, i had similar equipment that was stolen, but i found it so practical and easy to use, that i decided to buy another one. this one is more advanced, the angular gearboxes are in aluminum and it's equipped with safety crutches - ideal for home use or rally assistance.

Highly effective for light vehicles (urban, vintage), and for lightweight sports cars, provided the first lift is performed with a jack, which must be replaced on descent (otherwise the drive shaft housing will be crushed). Lifting is very good in an inclined position, and leaves a good working space. The downside (star less) is the risk of damage if the safety pins remain in place when lowering a small-section round tube, and the oddity of the drive crank or drill having to be placed on one side for lifting and on the other for lowering (always turning clockwise), whereas original up & down labels are stuck on the gearboxes, indicating that they can be used indifferently for lifting and lowering...

Packaged in a wooden crate strapped to a pallet. The unit is bulky and heavy, but arrives safely. The product appears to be correctly manufactured. The tubes are fairly thick, and the welds and paintwork are very good. Width settings: The narrowest position doesn't fit any car, but it does save space when transporting the product from China to your garage. The other two settings didn't suit me: not wide enough or too wide. After estimating my needs, I reduced the longest spacers to a median width for use on all the vehicles in my garage. The large width of the glides (14cm each) and their 4.5cm sliding assembly mean that I don't need to think about dismantling them in the future. Indents: Very long crank handle, requiring a lot of space on the side to consider its use. The reduction ratio of the lifting system makes it very time-consuming to raise the bridge manually. The screws and bolts used are class 4.8, i.e. without resistance, so don't try to block them, they'll get stuck in your hands. Despite these few criticisms, the product is well suited to my needs for light 1000kg vehicles. Beyond that, I wouldn't recommend it.

Once you've understood the diagram, you can easily assemble the bridge. Be careful with screw sizes so you don't go backwards during assembly, as it easily lifts a KG.

Practical and double-safe

Delivery time: good, zero delivery by GLS, correct material quality, but the width adjustment parts were forced in and difficult to assemble/dismantle. A width adjustment change takes a good hour. If you're faced with holes that don't fall face-on on the adjustment U's, it's not the holes but the original adjustment of parts pinched on the tubes (loosen and re-adjust to set the spars parallel). Otherwise, you need a hell of a drill to get off the ground, so I start with a crank: the higher it goes, the less effort it takes (the clothesline principle). The equipment is quite heavy as indicated (65kg), and castors in the other direction would not be a luxury, as well as U-shaped guides (folded sheet metal 15x50x15 ep 2 mm length 1m) to put under the castors in case of uneven ground, as the effort of rolling on the ground is added to the effort of climbing when lifting.

Hello, device received was not checked after manufacture, several parts welded askew preventing normal assembly. I had to make modifications to fit the larger size and use it. The caster had no retaining pin and I had to reinforce both mechanisms due to a problem during the first use.

It's a good product once the many small imperfections have been corrected.

The lift seems to be made of thick guage steel and strong enough for the purpose. Unfortunately one of the "tiges" or drive shafts was of the wrong length so I had to ask for a replacement which was posted and arrived within two days. Quality control seems to be an issue although the basics are OK. Be very careful to measure the lifting points on any car you wish to lift and be aware that the measurements quoted are not the centre of the lifting pads on the lift- as the overall external dimensions quoted include the drive points which stick out. So deduct about 25 cm from the quoted width to fit your car underbody hard points It takes about half an hour to change the width- gets easier with practice but not a quick job. Cheapest on the market but be aware of the limitations. Does what it claims- but get some good strong /long "chandelles" before getting underneath the car

Very useful bridge, but if you have a car that doesn't have at least 18 cm of ground clearance, you'll have to struggle with the jack and jackstands to get the car up before sliding the bridge under it.

the product remains simple to use for occasional applications. For each widening or narrowing of the bridge (width), you need to intervene technically by changing bars adapted to the new width. The bridge will be tedious to use if you plan to use it for different vehicles and if the use is sustained. If not, you'll find it very useful.

Hello , I've ordered a mobile tilting crane, which is undoubtedly practical for big jobs, but I can already say that this product is rather heavy to handle, cumbersome and wastes more time than using a simple jack to change 4 wheels. It's a shame. To be seen with time and reliability.

I'm disappointed because on the videos the bascule bridge has an arrow on the sides to indicate the direction of rotation to raise or lower the bridge; whereas on yours you have to guess the direction at the risk of damaging the equipment.

Not suitable for small vehicles, e.g. fiat 500 abarth: device too wide, after shortening the bars the device passes but only lifts the rear. Tested with device in both directions. Only way to ballast the trunk... Mail sent to mecatechnique but no reply.

Hello, first of all, the delivery was very good...then it got complicated with the assembly instructions, it took me quite a while to understand them, they're really too concise, the diagrams are too small or even illegible...no info on how to adjust the skids to adjust the width from one vehicle to another...be careful to check the length of the cylinders...and the assembly itself is laborious, you feel a bit in the fog...it's better to have two people to handle this tool... It's a nice tool, but I thought it would be easier to use, so I'm a bit disappointed...

The elevator does not fit all vehicles as many have plastic shells underneath which prevent lifting - small problem on a bent cover

Width adjustments are not progressive, so you have to make your own adjustments.

I have a series 5 E 39, it's not made for it but with its extensions and parts I made it's wider now, it doesn't need much to transform it but it's worth thinking about.

I bought this mini bridge described as adjustable in width. In reality, it can be modified (long and laborious modification, difficult to do alone) in 3 widths + or- 3cm and does not allow to lift a large number of mid-size cars from the 70/80's such as KADETT, COCCINELLE, GOLF, 205,...To do so, it would be necessary to shorten some of the supplied elements (those which allow to modify the bridge in the largest width and which are not wear elements) but MECATECHNIC then says not to ensure the warranty !!!!. For your information, the narrowest width is not useful other than for a quad, perhaps? Tip: measure your car carefully before purchase. In addition, the alignment of the welded elements is poor and hinders the interlocking of the tubes in the larger width.

Considering the rather high purchase price, I expected a better quality product... All the screws on the rubber pads were loose, screwed in crookedly or even missing in some places. Even though the product is brand new, there was rust... This kind of mishap is detrimental to the already tarnished image of "made in France".

Bad experience, the bridge received did not work, only one of the two sides lifted when I placed a car on it.
