On my comparator, the feeler was locked on delivery. I looked to see if there was a latch or a lock, but nothing like that. After looking for a tutorial, I realized that I'd have to force it a bit, which I did. It freed itself and hasn't posed any problems since. The attachment to the support is made of plastic, which contributes to the flexibility of the assembly at the limits.

Rod too long for the pmh of an alfa 147 gta or that of the extension but the 2 combined there is not enough travel to find the pmh correctly. the comparator comes out of the extension :-(
