The tool is an invaluable aid for realigning the Ailette, but without really straightening them. For this, you'll need to be patient and use other tools to obtain a near-new result.

It's a gadget that can be great, but the hardness of the combs is certainly very limited when compared to the fins of some evaporators/condensers I happen to work on. In any case, we must be extremely wary of torn fins...
