Between 1964 and 1973, the 911 Type F went through ten versions of its flat-six, from types 901/01 to 911/83. Displacement grew from 1.991 L to 2.195 L, then 2.341 L, and 2.687 L on the 1973 Carrera RS. Fuelling moved from Solex, Weber or Zenith carburettors to MFI mechanical injection. Outputs range from 110 hp for the 911 T to 210 hp for the lightweight Carrera RS. Your 911's engine type is what lets you target the right parts.
