Idle adjuster diaphragm that fits Weber 32/36 DGAS, DGES carburettors.
Some Weber 38 DGAS and DGES carburettors use an idle adjuster diaphragm which enables you to enrich the air/fuel mixture for more power and better efficiency when opened. On the other hand, at low rpm this membrane closes so you get a leaner mixture and therefore save fuel.
A failed diaphragm can cause excessive fuel consumption, black smoke, or unstable idling.
