Arrived in 2006, the Audi TT 2nd generation was modernized, without abandoning its character of small rounded sporting. It adopted the radiator grill 'single frame': specific to each model Audi, elongated almond-shaped headlights and new styled lights, which will be used again for the design of the R8. More elongated, the Audi TT 8J was also better equipped, with the arrival of new petrol block with direct injection, the 2.0l TFSI of 211hp. This version represented the largest percentage of the sales, ahead of the 1.8l TFSI of 160hp and the Diesel version 2.0l TDi of 170hp. Other novelty of this Audi TT mk2, the sporting versions, TT S and TT RS, developing respectively 272hp and 340hp, then 360hp for the TT RS+, appeared in 2012. The arrival of the 3rd generation (8S), in 2014, marked the end of the commercialization of this Audi TT 8J.
