Parts for Porsche 964

While the experts predicted the end of the 911 era, Porsche presented in 1988 the 911 Carrera 4 or 964 type. This completely new vehicle was modified at 85% compared to the previous version. Equipped with a boxer engine of 3.6l cooled by air, with 250hp, the Porsche is different especially thanks to its aerodynamic bumpers in polyurethane, which replaced those with buffer or with bellows of the previous version, and also thanks to its rear spoiler with automatic opening at 80km/h. The inside was also completely modified. It was based on security and performance, with the arrival of the power steering, the airbags, the ABS and, available as an option, the automatic gearbox Tiptronic. In total, Porsche proposed 4 versions of the 964 ; the Carrera, the Cabriolet, the Targa and the 964 Turbo from 1990. The 964 and its derived were commercialized until 1994.
