Universal transmission gaiter
The second generation production of the VW Polo (86C) started in 1982. This new version follows the same aesthetic lines which made the success of the first Polo. Two kinds of car body were then proposed: the version Polo 'coach': by far the most sold with its design 'mini break-style': and the version Polo coupé. Concerning the motorization, we find the 4 cylinders engine just as its precursor, with an electronic injection system, more modern than the carburetor it replaces in some models. We also find two Diesel motorizations, the 1.3l and the 1.4l. Concerning the finishing touches, the VW Polo fasts forward and gain quality. In 1990, the Polo underwent a restyling to be given a second life and finished its career 4 years later. The modifications concerned principally the lights, the radiator grill and the bumpers.
