This DANSK painted steel exhaust silencer is an identical reproduction of the original silencer fitted to 911s produced in 1966:

It takes into account the special features that were present at the time, such as the two-layer steel architecture with heat shield, and the 57mm-diameter chrome-plated end cap.

The silencer is made from 1.5mm thick sheet metal. The heat shield is made from 1mm-thick sheet metal. Finally, the flanges are 10mm thick.

All covered with a ceramic thermal protection paint.
